1. Introduction

Good Vibes Engineering ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or use our services.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

  • Contact Information: Name, email address, phone number, and company name when you submit our contact form or book a consultation.
  • Project Information: Details about your project needs, budget range, and service requirements.
  • Booking Information: Date, time, timezone, and meeting notes you provide when scheduling a consultation.
  • Proposal & Invoice Data: If you receive a proposal from us, we record when you view it, the typed name you use to sign it, your IP address, and user agent at the time of signing, as an electronic audit trail.
  • Payment Information: Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers; Stripe retains payment data in accordance with its own privacy policy.
  • Usage Data: Information about how you interact with our website, including IP address, browser type, and pages visited.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and provide requested services
  • Schedule consultations and send confirmation emails
  • Issue proposals, contracts, and invoices
  • Communicate with you about projects and opportunities
  • Improve our website and services
  • Comply with legal obligations

4. Google User Data & Limited Use Disclosure

Good Vibes Engineering's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically, we access the following Google user data, and only from the business owner's own Google account used to operate this site — never from visitors or clients:

  • Google Calendar events (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events scope): used solely to create calendar events and Google Meet links when a client books a consultation, and to remove those events if a booking is canceled.

We do not read your calendar, do not transfer Google user data to third parties, do not use Google user data for advertising, and do not use Google user data to train machine learning or generative AI models. No human reads Google user data unless we have explicit consent, it is required for security or legal compliance, or the data has been aggregated and anonymized.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Secrets such as API keys and OAuth refresh tokens are stored in Google Secret Manager with access restricted to a single service account. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Signed proposals and related audit data are retained for the duration of the business relationship plus any period required by law.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to processing of your data
  • Request data portability

To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address below.

8. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate this site. Each has its own privacy policy:

  • Google Cloud Platform — hosting, storage, and Calendar API.
  • Stripe — payment processing and hosted invoices.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery.

9. Cookies

We use a small number of strictly-necessary cookies to keep you signed in to admin and client-portal sessions. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can control cookie settings through your browser preferences.
